Head has a Raritan Marine Elegance commode, with new controls, a stainless sink, an opening portlight, and 30″ x 33″ seperate shower with a StarBoard floor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forward cabin has a large Vee berth, hanging locker, drawers, and a seperate (wet) head with sink and 12v macerator commode. A spare (new, old stock) macerator \/ valve unit is stored there. Both cabins have hatches and opening windows \/ portlights for ventilation and \/ or egress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saloon, Galley, and Lower Steering Station<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Saloon has built in storage settees, recovered 2022, room for two recliners, a removable dining table convertible to more sleeping space, a peninsula galley with room to use the peninsula as a breakfast bar. The galley has a three burner Princess electric range with oven, an LG apartment sized 10.5 cu ft refrigerator with bottom freezer (4 drawers), and a 17x21x9″ sink, with both a spray head faucet and a triple filtered water spigot for drinking, food, and coffee. Microwave (2022) and storage above, drawers and storage cupboards below, spice racks to port and behind the stove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lower Steering Station: Has a full set of newer VDO guages, 2021, with new alarm \/ lights and wiring. 6″ lighted Ritchie compass. Legacy Garmin MFD and Marine radio. Most 12v light switches are here. Switch between lower and upper engine \/ trans controls is here. Window in rear cabin slope for aft observation. Entry is from the Starboard side. All windows are aluminum framed and do not leak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10,000 BTU Dometic dual cycle AC (2021) cools the saloon, while a 16,000 BTU Dometic dual cycle AC (2020) cools both cabins. The units are behind the Port saloon wall. 120 v and 12 v LED lights keep the saloon bright, while the new (2022) PVC core woodgrain vinyl flooring is easy to keep clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deck and deck hardware<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Vita Dolce has wide side decks for easy movement around the boat, 24″+ handrails for safety, a 4 ft stern deck for fishing and line handling, with a 24″ aluminum access hatch to the deep, full width lazarette. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sundeck has the bottle gas grill, a fold out table with chairs, storage for dive tanks, anchors, and deck tools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access is available on both sides, with a 7 step Marinco 24″ SeaStair with new (2022) urethane rollers and receiver hardware on both sides. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anchoring is secure and easy with an 80 lb Manson Supreme anchor on 300 ft of 5\/16 G4 American made LaClede chain, backed with 150 ft of 5\/8 Yale 8 brait nylon rode. This is handled from the flybridge by a Maxwell 10-8 windlass (2019). Mantus chain hooks on the bridle and setting snubber keep the chain under control. A 70 lb genuine Danforth anchor and a ~200 ft 3 strand nylon rode serve as a second or back up anchor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many dock lines, including 2 new 3\/4″ x 30 ft braided lines, 5 x 45 ft 3\/4″ 8 brait nylon storm lines, and many others. 4 x 12″ x 30″ cylinder fenders with fender boards provide primary dock protection, while 2 x 19″ orange ball fenders serve while locking. 3 x 50 ft 30 amp power cords supply dock power (30 amp main service panel), and a fresh water hose with inlet shut off provides dock water service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flybridge seating, controls, and weather protection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Flybridge is equipped with a 4″ lighted Ritchie compass, a 2021 Garmin MFD with a 2021 depth sounder, new (2021) VDO gauges with new dedicated wiring and alarms, a legacy Garmin radar, and a 2021 Standard Horizon GX 2200 B marine radio with loudhailer and foghorn functions. The loudhailer speaker (2020) and remotely steerable 100 watt LED searchlight (2021) are controlled from the flybridge, as is the windlass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The helm chair is a very comfortable, ergonomic, adjustable welded steel seat made by Hansen of Denmark, and was reupholstered in 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is another seat to port of the helm chair, and storage settees on both sides of the flybridge. These need cleaning or reupholstering. A removeable dining table completes the flybridge furniture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new (2022) Stamoid vinyl cloth flybridge Bimini enclosure makes cruising in all weathers comfortable, as Stamoid is waterproof and UV opaque. A Stamoid cover also protects the sundeck area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saftey equipment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are several newer life preservers aboard, a throwable ring buoy with line, an EPIRB (2019) racked just inside the starboard access door, as well as the basic Coast Guard required flares, .lights, signals, and signal charts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engine room and tankage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Vita Dolce is equipped with two Ford Lehman 135 naturals, and she uses about 4 gal. per hour at 7 kts<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The starboard engine and transmission were just completely rebuilt, with new engine cooling, oil, and transmission heat exchangers. The port engine, with 5,600 hours, has a newly remanufactured head, with new injectors and a new damper plate. The engine, oil, and transmission coolers were replaced in 2020. The Port transmission has appx 3500 hours on it. Dual Racor 900s keep the fuel clean, while an oil change pump system makes oil changes easy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All batteries were replaced with gel cells in 2019, and a Mastervolt 13\/40\/3 battery charger was installed at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Long Range Cruiser was built with solid fiberglass tanks for both fuel and water. All tanks have 12\u201d inspection \/ cleanout ports. Fuel tanks are 350 gallons on each side of the engine room, with 500+ gallons of stabilized diesel aboard. The 3 water tanks, 600 gallons total, are in the keel spaces below the engine room and the two cabins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main Racor 900 filters are mounted on the stern wall of the engine room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New 3\/4″ thru hulls and Groco bronze seacocks were installed n 2020 to increase the cooling water supply to the Dometic AC units. A new Groco sea strainer and March 500 water pump was installed for the 16,000 BTU unit. 2 new Rule 1500 gpm, and 1 Rule 1100 gpm bilge pumps and new float switches were installed in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Capilano hydraulic steering has been serviced, and a newly rebuilt steering ram installed. This should resolve the issues I previously had with the autopilot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Waste tank is 40 gallons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a leak on the port side of the flybridge deck (now covered by the flybridge enclosure), and there is an area of damaged fiberglass in the gunwale rail at the portside of the stern. The stern teak swim platform needs repair or replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
